British actress, Lucy Gordon, committed suicide in her Paris apartment on Wednesday, that is only two days before her 29th birthday. Gordon’s body was found in her apartment early this morning. According to a detective there were no suspicious circumstances and it is pretty certain that the young woman took her own life. It is believed that Lucy was devastated after the recent death of a very close friend in U.K. which lead her to take this terrible step.
With her début in 2001’s ‘Perfume’, Gordon has acted in a dozen high profile Hollywood movies including Serendipity and Spider Man 3.Her most recent role was of Jane Birkin in a biopic about the French singing legend Serge Gainsbourg, this film is currently running in the Cannes Film Festival. It was a very sad end for such a talented actress. R.I.P Lucy Gordon.
